News from the Windsor Kitchen
Our chef’s at Windsor Gardens have unveiled their new seasonal menu for the spring and summer months. Each new season brings new fresh fruits and veggies, and new menu options! We have thoroughly enjoyed all the new additions to the menu. The Bacon Turkey Wrap with crisp lettuce, fresh tomato, and cheddar cheese pairs perfectly with the dijonnaise dressing, potato salad, and fresh fruit- an impeccably refreshing meal for the hotter months.
Additionally, the chefs have taken us around the globe with some scrumptious additions. The Pork Fried Rice is made with seasoned pork loin and incorporates fresh veggies. It is paired with a savory fried pork roll. The Chicken Quesadilla has encouraged the residents to explore new options from our Southern Neighbors. It has been a favorite so far! Taking it across the Atlantic, we have our new Italian dish- Pasta Primavera. This dish incorporates fresh spinach and zucchini, crookneck squash, red onion, red pepper, and fresh tomato! The seasonal veggies paired with the pasta creates the perfect combo of healthy food and comfort food. We are so thankful to our chefs for keeping our taste buds on their toes. We look forward to their tasty creations meal after meal!
