“Windsor Gardens Assisted Living was a blessing to me and my family for the wonderful care, kindness, and comfort my Dad received while he was a resident. Windsor Gardens is expertly staffed to ensure all resident’s safety, well-being, medication, comfort needs, and a very high quality of lifestyle.
The facility environment and amenities are so much like home, and that is one of the main reasons why my Dad adjusted so quickly from his home to an assisted living facility. Also, the residents are always actively engaged in daily line-ups of social events and activities including crafts, games, exercise groups, listening to visiting chorus groups perform, gatherings for friendship and church services just to mention a few. Outings to local community programs and events for the residents are tailored to everyone’s likes. My Dad really enjoyed the trips to local parades, restaurants, and Christmas light tours.
The variety of meals served in the Dining Room is awesome. All the residents seem content and happy. All the group photos and individual recognition’s during events and outings provided and posted by Windsor Gardens on social media really promotes “the well-being and sense of belonging” by all. The superbly organized holiday parties by the Event Coordinator for residents and their families throughout the year are always great, especially the annual Halloween and Christmas Parties. Exceptional fun and friendship is shared by all!
Being an architect, one of the many advantages of Windsor Gardens Assisted Living from a functional viewpoint I observed during my many visits was the great accessibility throughout the facility for all the residents, including my Dad, when using walkers or wheelchairs. Because of the single level facility architectural design and layout, travel distances between all indoor functional areas are minimized, and since my Dad tired so easily upon exertion, this facility was perfect for him getting around, especially to eat in the Dining Room, sit by the fireplace in the living area, get a haircut, or just to venture outside to the front porch covered area or back patio with walkways and landscaping to absorb some outdoor living as well. Also, the interior design and furnishings throughout provide a pleasant and welcome feeling as if you had walked into your own home.
The entire facility inside and out is always clean and neat, and the in-house laundry, custodial, and maintenance service is outstanding. Every time I visited my Dad his room was clean, neat, and bed made up! I can’t say enough of how Brian, Bridgett, Lisa, Tara, Anne, and the many other staff members always went above and beyond to provide a sense of caring for all my Dad’s needs, including calling us a home at any time to report his wellness evaluations and observations of a sudden change of his medical condition. Their caring and dedication to improving my Dad’s quality of life and physical comfort at all times, day and night was so much appreciated, and always provided a sense of relief to my family and I that he always had the best attention and care available.
My family and I were so thankful that my Dad resided at Windsor Gardens. I highly recommend Windsor Gardens to anyone that has a loved one in need of assisted living.”
“My mom has been a resident of Windsor Gardens for seven years. She and I both have nothing but good to say about the caring staff and beautiful facility. I feel so blessed that she is at Windsor Gardens getting the best of care. Because I know she is safe and well served, I am able to spend our precious time together visiting and enjoying her company.”
“My mother needed short-term respite care before coming home after recovering from hip surgery. The staff provided exceptional care for her. I was very confident that they would provide what she needed. She loved the activities and devotions. She still talks about all of the wonderful people she met there. She has told me that if she requires a long-term living arrangement in the future, she wants to go back to Windsor Gardens!”
“My mom has been at Windsor Gardens for over a year and her sister was here for 10 years before that. To say we have been more than pleased is an understatement. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is always something going on to occupy the residents time and they check vitals and general health twice a day. Because Windsor Gardens is locally owned and not part of a big company I can always speak to the management at any time with any question.”
